(Tim Hunt talks about his martial arts studies with Joe Caverlee who is the group’s fiddle player.)
Tim Hunt-We’re a wild band on-stage, but we’re not too wild. While our music and live show is very energetic, off-stage we don’t party and we are all involved in positive, constructive hobbies. We used to be into playing a gig, then staying up all night and then getting up at five o’ clock in the afternoon and starting all over again, but that was years ago and we’re all through with that phase now.
Now, after a show, we’ll met with the fans and the people who came out to see us and then it’s we’re back to the hotel room for a meal and then we’ll be getting some sleep. In the mornings, I like to exercise. I am involved in the martial arts. And Joe, our fiddle player, is Joe massively involved in Teet Kun Do , he has a third degree black belt. I study under Joe and it’s a great way to exercise and unwind and stay focused.
